Find your favorite beach in Lincoln City with our full list of Beach Access points with directions for the perfect spot to sit and relax, build your own campfire on the beach, and play in the ocean waters. Experience the Pacific Ocean! Not sure what water activities Lincoln City has available? Take to the waves and surf the ocean. If you need to rent a board, the family-owned Safari Town Surf Shop provides a complete surfing rental department and lessons to give surfing a try. Take your pick of kayaks, canoes, wave-runners, pontoons, and paddle-boats rentals at Blue Heron Landing Boat Rentals.
You will not want to miss visiting The Lincoln City Glass Center to design and blow your own glass floats and vases or search for glass floats hidden throughout the beach during Finder's Keepers season, an annual event with over 3,000 floats for travelers to find and take home! Golf courses abound with stunning views for the traveling golfer strolling the greens. Of course, if you're interested in nightlife activities, the Chinook Winds Casino has games, clubbing scenes, live music, and great food!
Feeling adventurous? The biking and hiking opportunities are bountiful and beautiful! One of the most stunning areas is Cascade Head National Scenic and Research Area (and no fees!) and is open year-round. Drift Creek Falls is a 1.5 mile, moderately difficult hike and features a 240-foot long cable suspension bridge with a view that will leave you spellbound. For the more inclined hikers, Neahkahnie Mountain promises a longer, steeper climb and the viewpoint from the top shows upwards of eight miles of southern coastline.
HEAD NORTH
The Tillamook Cheese Factory, about 1-hour north of Lincoln City for tours of their newly remodeled Creamery (2018) and a place for great food, amazing fresh ice cream, and delicious cheese curds. The Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad is a little further north with low-cost tickets to seasonal rides aboard the remodel steam engines for phenomenal views you can only experience from the tracks.
HEAD SOUTH
Newport, Oregon is only 30-minutes south to experience coastal wildlife up-close at The Oregon Coast Aquarium and the kids will enjoy Ripley's Believe It or Not and The Wax Museum!
SHOPPING
Lincoln City offers plenty of shopping opportunities from the Lincoln City Outlet Mall where you will find familiar stores with great prices to local shops with one-of-a-kind gifts and keepsakes. Perhaps check out The Christmas Cottage for year-round holiday cheer and then sneak next door to Chocolate at the Beach for fantastic fudge, chocolate-dipped twinkies, and caramel apples!
Although, a favorite shopping activity is exploring the candy shops, Lincoln City is famous for its salt water taffy and there are so many locations, just to name a few: Sweet Delights, Ainslee’s Salt Water Taffy and head to Candyland for the only shop that pulls their own taffy! Travelers will also love the "retro" candy sections with childhood favorites like PopRocks, Jaw Breakers, pixie stix, peanut brittle, and fantastic fudge.
Looking for unique items for your home? Lincoln City has amazing antique shops waiting for you to explore, including 101 Inspirations, Granny's Attic, and The Little Antique Mall. If you're seeking quiet time to enjoy the ocean, the local bookstores have a variety of choices at Bob's Beach Books and Pacific Coast Books; find the perfect story to sit by a cozy fire in our oceanfront condos and watch the waves. A short 25-20 minute trip south will bring you to Depoe Bay, Oregon, nicknamed The World's Smallest Navigable Harbor and find mom-and-pop shops with everything from the amazing $20 and under Leather Works and the adorable Knock Your Socks Off (socks only!). Depoe Bay also has several gift shops including LaVoy's, Country Cousin's, Joan-E Gifts, and O'Connell Gallery.
DINING
Do you enjoy clam chowder, fish and chips, fresh crab legs? Of course Lincoln City has amazing seafood for guests to enjoy during their stay from family eateries to cultural experiences to fine dining. We are currently on the hunt for the best clam chowder on the Oregon Coast! Check out Mo's Chowder House for classic chowder and seafood favorites of fried prawns, fish and chips, steamed clams, and crab legs.
Did you know the Oregon Coast is known for its cultural restaurants? Lincoln City offers several Mexican restaurants including family owned Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, La Roca, and Super Oscar's. Take your pick and enjoy amazing margaritas and house-made chips and salsa! Be sure to try Autobahn 101 for authentic German eats and beers on tap, Jasmine Thai Restaurant (now "Best Thai") for Asian vegetarian and gluten-free options, and Gallucci's Pizzeria a tourist and local favorite.
Seeking a special night out and tantalizing flavors? Look no further than Tidal Raves in Depoe Bay for their amazing menu and gorgeous view. Or stop by Gracie's Sea Hag and ask them to "play the bottles" in the bar room and don't forget to try their amazing Monte Cristo deep fried ham and cheese with fries!

ADVENTURES IN CENTRAL OREGON
Sunriver offers Central Oregon's premiere resort experience for family vacations, group retreats, amazing outdoor adventures year-round in any season. Sunriver is surrounded by beautiful Deschutes national forest land with national Lava Lands volcanic wonders. Explore the wonders of the caves yourselves! Looking for something nearby? You can visit hike a 6.4 mile trail to Benham Falls from Sunriver and back featuring a river and good for all skill levels open year-round. The waterfall is beautiful! If you're the more adventurous hiker, check out South Sister, Oregon's third-tallest peak, a staggering 4,900 and 5.5 miles!
All of our Sunriver lodge homes offer bikes (at least 10 adults and 2 childrens per home) for our guests to enjoy the more than 35 miles of paved paths throughout the area. Explore the town with your friends and family and take in the amazing sights! Interested in something off the path? Cog Wild Mountain Bike Tours take you off-road for a "bucket-list worthy" mountain bike tour for "fun-seekers who want to maximize their vacation"! There is of course, The Paulina Plunge, a downhill waterfall mountain bike tour where you will descend over 2,000 vertical feet into four 1.5 mile downhill bike segments into waterfalls!
For some fun activities for the kids, be sure to schedule time to visit the Oregon Observatory. Sunriver's elevation, pitch-dark surroundings, and crystal clear air make it perfect for stargazing! The whole family will enjoy the Sunriver Nature Center adventures and hands-on discovery with live animal exhibits and outdoor exploration opportunities.

DINING
Sunriver is famous for is local Sunriver Brewing Company with two locations (1 in Sunriver, 1 in Bend). Check out the local pub in The Village for year-round or seasonal award-winning craft beer, family friendly service and a great quality pub food. Their Sunriver Tacos are fantastic!
A fun feature of Central Oregon is the brewery tours! You can take part in the The Local Pour or jump on the Bend Brew Bus for the whole trip. We offer a full list on our site of options and Bend, Oregon is a short day-trip from Sunriver!
Looking for a fine dining experience out? Check out Marcello's with an extensive Italian menu with a Northwest twist or try South Bend Bistro in The Village and the carefully selected fine wines. Be sure to check their hours and a reservation can be a good idea, but if you can request the outdoor seating especially near the holidays it's wonderful! If you don't mind a small drive too, be sure to check out the Peruvian side of Hola!' s menu and the views on the water aren't bad either!
Blondie's Pizza is the perfect spot for great food options for larger groups and amazing food. Build your own or take advantage of their great menu (fun names too!). You have to try "The Elephant" or "Mulligan". Carson's American Kitchen offers French-influenced American dining with gorgeous lake views and a seasonal menu for a fun experience and amazing new menu each visit. For outside dining in the summer and live entertainment, step over to the Village Bar and Grill and try enjoy casual dining and a laid back atmosphere.
