We take pride in our very well equipped kitchens. We are sure our kitchens will surprise you, with all dishes, utensils, drinkware, mixers, blenders, toasters, crock pots, baking pans, casserole dishes, quality pots/pans, knife sets, mixing bowls, and more!
We do not monitor spices and oils in the homes as they vary. All houses have a basic spice set and then an area where guests leave spices and cooking basics to share with other guests, but we do not track those items. If you have specific spices or oils you need, we recommend bringing them with you or checking out the house and then shopping for them locally at one of the grocery stores in Sunriver.

Sunriver, Oregon Questions
Yes! Our homes offer SHARC passes which provide guests access to the Sunriver marina boat launch.

All of our Sunriver properties offer bikes for guest use during the Spring, Summer, and Fall Seasons. The bikes are locked during the Winter due to liability issues and concern for the safety of our guests. The winters are unpredictable in Sunriver when we cannot foresee snow and guests cannot always see icy paths. (Of note, our seasonal bike availability mirrors the rental season at The Village for bike rentals, which are also not available in winter.)
There are no open flames, such as fireworks and fire pits, allowed within Sunriver.
The Sunriver Marina is very convenient for drop in float trips. The Sunriver Resort Boathouse rents inner tubes, canoes, kayaks, rafts and paddle boards onsite. Rentals include parking, life vests, and shuttle service. (A shuttle runs every 10-15 minutes.)
The community or town of Sunriver is known as "Sunriver Resort" as it is considered a resort town, however there is also a company "Sunriver Resort". While our properties are in Sunriver, Oregon, they are not associated with this company. As part of the town of Sunriver, we enjoy the advantages as members of the SROA which include offering our guests SHARC passes in all of our homes for the water park, tennis courts, pickleball courts, disc golf courses, and boat launch for more water fun like river floats. We also offer bikes to enjoy Sunriver’s 35+ paved bike paths! We are a small family owned business in Sunriver however, which allows us the opportunity to offer a more personal experience with our guests and unique luxury Sunriver properties.
Bend is conveniently only about 20 minutes away.
Mt. Bachelor is a short 30 minutes drive.

The summer peak season typically runs from June to Labor Day. Bookings are available for our summer seasons beginning June 1st of the prior year. Aspen Lodge offers Friday-Friday 7-night stays during the summer peak season.
Cancellation and Refund Policy For all Sunriver reservations (Deschutes County), BPVR has a 60 day cancellation deadline on all Off-Peak & Ski-Season reservations and a 90 day cancellation deadline on all Peak Season reservations [Peak: Holiday/Summer Seasons (time periods defined below)]. All cancellations must be submitted in writing*. All changes to reservations must also be completed in writing* to BPVR before 60 days prior to arrival for Off-Peak/Ski Seasons and before 90 days prior to arrival for Peak Seasons. Guests who cancel on or after the cancellation deadline date are responsible for the full payment of the reservation.

BPVR Staff recommend the Black Bear Lodge after some people had family emergencies and had to cancel so we didnt need the larger lodge that we had rented. We couldnt have been happier with the recommendation! We have rented several lodges from BPV and I have to say the Black Bear Lodge was my favorite. We love this property so much! It is our second time staying in Black Bear Lodge and we hope we will be able to stay there again. It is absolutely wonderful! This home is perfect for our family of 15! All adult couples had lovely bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and there was a perfect area for the younger kids, complete with bunkroom and their own gathering place. The kitchen is outstanding! With our crowd of 15 we used plenty of dishes. There were ample dishes and glasses for everyone, 2 dishwashers, 2 coffee pots plus a Keurig coffee maker, 2 stoves. Several people could be in the kitchen at the same time and not get in each other's way. But I have to comment on the bedrooms! The were large and very comfortable, and the beds were extraordinarily wonderful! All the guests commented on the comfort of the beds and the wonderful bed linens! I honestly cannot think of a thing that would have made our vacation experience better!

There was so much space. We were two families with kids age 8-13 and a nanny and a single aunt. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have alone time, and plenty of space for all 11 of us to hang out together. We had a chef come for 2 nights, and the two dishwashers made clean up easy, and the extra fridge in the garage was a must for leftovers and extra drinks. Pingpong table was fabulous.

The floor plan is great for large gatherings with a very functional kitchen, two family rooms (on separate floors), and large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, plus a bunk room (for 4). The kitchen was so well-stocked (better than my kitchen at home)!
I can't think of anything that needed improvement. The bicycles were all used and were so nice to have right there at the house. The location of Black Bear Lodge was perfect, close enough for all of us to ride bicycles (or walk if we preferred) to the the Village. The SHARC passes were a wonderful bonus!
Couldn't have had a better equipped kitchen. Pancakes for 15, no problem with the griddle. Corn on the cob, no problem for 15 with two large boiling pots. Coffee for 8 adults every morning, no problem with multiple coffee pots provided, plus a Keurig for any coffee afterthoughts!

Great home! Very well equipped for a group of 14. The home had a nice layout of bedrooms and living spaces, and lots of amenities. Our group loved the ping pong table in the garage and made good use of the hot tub as well. The bikes were wonderful cruisers and put to great use. Uniformly we all thought the beds were the most comfortable ever!

It was very relaxing, enjoyable, comfortable and such an amazing place. This was an amazing home. There was plenty of room, great gathering spaces and the kitchen was a chefs dream.
